RealCart works with many on-line merchant account providers and more are being added every day. Configuring your checkout for most typical merchant account providers and payment gateways is as easy as following these steps:
- Start RealCart.
- Open the Checkout Wizard by clicking the Cash Register button on RealCart’s large toolbar.
- Click the Server tab.
- Select Order Provider for the server type.
- In the Order Provider pull-down menu choose your secure server provider.
- Enter the ID that allows access from your HTML form to the payment gateway in the appropriate field.
- Click OK (or Next > if configuring for the first time.)
- Publish your store.
It is MUCH easier to open an Authorize.Net account than it is to change ISPs. If you cannot utilize your existing payment gateway then you should open an Authorize.Net account if you can afford a one time $297.00 USD setup fee. If your business resides outside the USA you should consider WorldPay as AuthNet only works in the USA.
RealCart offers full support for users of the Authorize.Net or WorldPay gateways. Your payment gateway may or may not be supported. See the complete list of all the RealCart compatible gateways. If your gateway doesn’t appear on this list you may request that it be added.
