Configuring payment methods
Configuring which credit cards you will take can be done in the checkout wizard if you have configured your store to utilize our FREE form mailers. If you are using one of the secure order providers like Authorize.Net or WorldPay then this dialog does not do anything and there is no need to configure anything in it. Just click OK or Finish.
To choose which payment methods are utilized in your on-line store just place a check in the checkbox next to each type of payment you want to accept in your on-line store. If you are using one of the “for NT” or “for UNIX” secure order provider choices you must publish your store with the UNIX or NT setting first to allow the form mailer to be published as well as to set your desired credit cards and payment methods. After you have successfully published your store with one of these two settings then you can open the Checkout Wizard again and switch the shopping cart back to your original choice.
Selecting payment methods with a payment gateway
When you accept payment using Authorize.Net, WorldPay, VeriSign, iTransact and other payment gateways it is not possible to select which cards that you will accept, or whether or not you accept checks with the software itself. You will need to contact your merchant account provider to have them add the desired credit card or electronic check acceptance to your account. PayPal only accepts Visa and MasterCard. Contact your merchant account provider for more info.
