Setting up your company info

To get started defining your company information please click the Shop button on the RealCart toolbar. Then click the Company tab.

Your store information is used in the program in a variety of different ways. Your company information is displayed to your web shopper as an address to send off-line payments (if you accept them) as well as provide an address in your “help” page for the shopping cart under the “Contact Us” hyperlink. The customer can view this information by clicking the “Help with the Shopping Cart” link on your web site. The site information is used in the generation of your on-line store's pages to construct URLs that will become hyperlinks in your store pages as well as addresses where scripts reside. Other settings in the wizard affect how your store will be layed out and how the cart will use portals such as IcQ and HumanClick.
To configure your store information either click the “Store” button in the browser menu or you can also click the Shop button on the tool bar. On the first page of the store wizard you need to enter your company information including your physical location as well as your eBay seller ID. If you do not sell on eBay just leave this field blank. When you have filled in your company info click “Next” in the Shop Wizard in the program (as well as the next button below.)
Company Name
The Name of your Company. This is what users will be instructed to make checks or money orders “payable to” when making payment off-line or when paying for an Ebay auction if credit cards are not accepted at your store. This is also the name that will appear on the Help Screen on your on-line store when ever the web shopper clicks the “Help with the Shopping Cart” link.
Address
The Address of your Company. This is where users will be instructed to mail checks or money orders when making payment off-line or when paying for an Ebay auction if credit cards are not accepted at your store. This is also the address that will appear on the Help Screen on your on-line store when ever the web shopper clicks the “Help with the Shopping Cart” link.
City
The City your company is located in. Always be sure to use proper letter case when entering all of your company info.
State
The State (or province) your company is located in.
ZIP/Postal Code
The ZIP/Postal Code for your company’s mailing address. (Must be ZIP/Postal code that matches the address you entered in the address field(s)) Double check all of this information for accuracy to prevent lost checks in the event your customer orders from you off-line.
Country
The Country where your company is located. Use the standard abbreviation, (e.g. USA)
Ebay ID
The Ebay ID your company uses to sell items on Ebay. If you are not an Ebay user, simply leave this field blank.
If you are setting up your store for the first time click “Next >>” link to go to the next wizard page. If you are visiting this dialog after your initial setup you can navigate between the wizard pages by clicking the tabs at the top of the dialog box.
