Publishing your store - 10 minutes or less
Publishing with FTP clients
If you are already using an FTP program like WS_FTP or Cute FTP you can continue using these programs to publish RealCart. Just upload the following directory (assuming a default install):
c:\Program Files\RealCart.com\RealCart\Stores\My Store\cart
Nothing except what is in your cart folder needs to be uploaded to your server.
Publishing with the Publishing Wizard
You may also try our internal publishing wizard. There is a 98% or better chance that our publishing wizard is compatible with your web server as long as you configure it correctly.
Things you will need to know before publishing include your FTP server info (if using the built-in publishing.) The Publishing Wizard works with most ftp servers.
Publishing with FrontPage
If you do not have ftp access to your server you can still publish the cart files with FrontPage or other WYSIWYG editor.
Publishing (copying) across a LAN
You can even copy the files from one drive to another over a network that is linked to your web server or from a folder on your web server itself if you have installed RealCart directly to your web server. Copy the “cart” folder located here:
c:\Program Files\RealCart.com\RealCart\Stores\My Store\cart
To the cart folder on your web server so your cart will be accessible from:
http://www.YourDomain.com/cart/
