Working with Products
Defining zoom images
If you have already prepared your zoom images according to the preparation guidelines then it is time to assign the zoom to a product in your store. Here is how to do this step by step.
- Start RealCart
- If the product wizard is not already open, double-click a product name on the left side of the screen. (You may have to expand a department branch first by clicking the plus sign [+] next to the department name.)

- Once the product wizard is open click the Images tab.
- If you already have a smaller copy of this image select it as a thumbnail image first.
- Click the Yes button in the zoom (lower) section of this dialog.
- Click the button that says Click to select a zoom image.
- Using the file open dialog that displays navigate to the folder where your images are. (RealCart will remember this folder)
- When you select an image you should see a preview in the preview area at the bottom of this dialog. (You will probably not see the entire image.)
- When you find a suitable image and can see the a partial image preview in the dialog click the Open button.
- Click OK.
Make absolutely sure that the image you use for a zoom image is in fact larger than the image you used as a thumbnail image. It makes no sense to use the same image for your zoom image as you used for your thumbnail image. If you don’t have a larger image do not define a zoom for the product. Leave the button next to the zoom image set to No. Make sure that the images you select adhere to the preparation guidelines discussed earlier in this section.
