• From the RealCart menu you can open the department manager by selecting Edit/Departments....
• You can also access the department manager by right-clicking a department on the left side of the RealCart program window.
• Lastly you can access the department manager directly from the department tab in the product wizard.

To add a department:

• Open the department manager using one of the methods listed above.
• Click the Add button in the department manager.
• Enter a name for the new department (must not match any of your stock numbers)
• Click OK.
• The product selection dialog will pop up.
• Select the product(s) you want to add to this department on the left side of the dialog. (If you don’t want to add any products just skip to the last two steps.)
• Click the Add > button to add the individual product(s). Click the Add All >> button to add all of the products in your store to the new department.
• Click OK.
• Click OK again.

To delete a department:

• Open the department manager using one of the methods listed at the top of this page.
• Select the department you want to delete.
• Click the delete button in the department manager.
• Click Yes when asked if you are sure.
• Click OK again.

To rename a department:

• Open the department manager using one of the methods listed at the top of this page.
• Select the department you want to rename.
• Click the rename button in the department manager.
• Enter the new name for the department.
• Click OK.
• Click OK again.
