Product Pricing
RealCart allows for some pretty powerful pricing options as far as optional features for your products are concerned. For example, if you sell computers and you allow your customers to “build their own” systems you will appreciate the Product Options capabilities.
Basically the only suggestion we have is to not set a price of 0.00 unless the product is FREE. Also please keep in mind that the shopper can buy a FREE item but in order to check out the shopper will need to buy something that costs at least .01. If not then the order process cannot be completed. Not only will RealCart tell you that the shopping cart is empty most payment gateways will just display an error when you try to transact a 0.00 total sale. (This is based on the order total. Order totals less than .01 are considered ‘empty shopping carts’)
Note: No currency symbol should ever be forced into this field. Currency Symbol is defined in the Shop Wizard.
