Other advanced FTP settings
Besides the FTP Initial Directory you can also specify other advanced publishing settings. Here are all the settings and what they do:
- FTP Initial Directory - setting in RealCart™ that tells the publishing wizard what folder to upload the “cart” folder to on your FTP server.
- Location of cgi-bin on your server - If your web server doesn’t use a cgi-bin folder to run scripts but they have another cgi folder named something else like cgi-win or just plain cgi then you can specify the name of the cgi folder here.
- Create cgi-bin folder if needed... - If this button is checked then RealCart will attempt to create a cgi folder on your web server if none exists. (Note: cgi is not utilized with most secure order providers like Authnet and WorldPay.)
- Use passive transfer mode - Passive mode allows the publishing wizard to upload your files much faster.
- Transfer Sleep Time - If you get “time out” errors you might try adjusting this value. It must be a number from 0 to 150. This field cannot be left blank.
