Publishing (copying) across a LAN
To publish your shopping cart to a network drive just follow these steps:
If you installed the shopping cart in the default location you will want to copy the cart folder located here:
C:\Program Files\RealCart.com\RealCart\Stores\My Store\cart
Copy the cart folder, its contents, as well as its sub-folders and their contents, into the root of your web site. (This means to the same folder as the folder that contains your main/front page.) By publishing the cart folder to the root of your web site you will end up with a URL for your on-line store similar to this one:
http://www.YourDomain.com/cart/
Do NOT copy the My Store or Stores folders, only the “cart” folder in your store’s folder. Also the file rsscmeta.mdb file does NOT go on your web server. The only place it is used is on your local hard drive by the program itself. Do not edit this file. We cannot provide technical support to our users that choose to edit the database file directly.
